The University of Dhaka announced this
year honours 1st year admission test will be started 1st November, 2013.
All unit admission tests already announced. The University of Dhaka started
its activities with 3 Faculties, 12 Departments, 60 teachers, 877
students and 3 dormitories (Halls of Residence) for the students. At
present the University consists of 13 Faculties, 71 Departments, 10
Institutes, 17 dormitories, 3 hostels and more than 38 Research Centers.
The number of students and teachers has risen to about 33,112 and 1,805
respectively.

Dhaka University admission tests for the sessions 2013-14 will begin from 1st November, 2013. The decision was taken at the Deans Committee meeting on Thursday, university spokesman Ashraf Ali Khan told the admission test will be held on 1st November, 2013. ● Admission test for ‘Gha’ Unit- 1st November, 2013 (Friday)
● Admission test for ‘Kha’ Unit- 8th November, 2013 (Friday)
● Admission test for ‘Ga’ Unit- 15th November, 2013 (Friday)
● Admission test for ‘Ka’ Unit- 22nd November, 2013 (Friday)
● Admission test for ‘Cha’ Unit- 23rd November, 2013 (Saturday)
Dhaka University Honours Admission 2013-14:
The test for ‘Ga’ unit will take place on Nov 15, ‘Ka’ unit on Nov 22, ‘Gha’ unit on Nov 1, Kha’ unit will take place on Nov 08 and the admission test for ‘Cha’ unit will be held on Nov 23, the meeting decided. Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique will brief the press on Sept 6 about the admission process in detail, authorities said. Over 5,000 students in the four units take admission in Dhaka University every year. Last year, 6,613 students got admission last year in all units, including ‘Cha’ unit. Students will be able to submit the application forms and online apply September 12 to September 30, 2013.
