Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) was established in 1987. The sole university of its kind at that point, it started its career on the first Phalgun (13th of Gregorian calendar month 1991) with solely 3 departments: Physics, Chemistry and social science, thirteen academics and 205 students. Now, at the center of 2011, it’s distended to seven faculties, twenty five departments and one institute. The amount of academics has adult to 424 and therefore the students to 9262.
